TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 KIEFER BUILT EVOLUTION SIX HORSE HEAD TO HEAD LIVESTOCK TRAILER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE CHEST AND TAILBAR WERE TELESCOPING. THEREFORE, THE CENTER BOARD CANNOT REMAIN FIXATED. THE WELDING ON THE TAILBAR BARREL HAS RIPPED OFF AND THE TELESCOPING ITEM FAILED. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE DESIGN WAS POOR. THEY FURTHER STATED THAT A TEMPORARY REMEDY WOULD BE TO SCREW OPEN THE TELESCOPE AND BOLT THE TAILBARS TO THE CENTER BOARD. THE FAILURE STILL PERSISTS. THE MILEAGE WAS NOT APPLICABLE.

The contact owns a 2008 Kiefer Evolution Horse trailer. The contact stated that while driving 70 MPH and hauling the trailer, the front section of the horse trailer’s roof dislodged from the frame of the trailer and became partially detached. The cause of the failure was not determined. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. A dealer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 100,000.
