I EXPERIENCED A TIRE BLOW OUT ON MY 2010 KEYSTONE SPRINGDALE RV. THE TIRES HAVE LESS THEN 1000 MILES ON THEM. THE TIRE IS A CARLISLE ST225/75R15 RADIAL TRAIL. I NOTICED A "BUBBLE" IN THE SIDE WALL JUST PRIOR TO THE BLOW OUT. THE TIRE SEPARATED AND BURST. THANKFULLY I WAS TRAVELING AT A LOAD RARE OF SPEED AND NO ACCIDENT OCCURRED. I WAS ABLE TO CHANGE TO MY SPARE. UPON INSPECTION OF THE REMAINING THREE TIRES, I NOTICED ONE MORE WITH A "BUBBLE" AND THE OTHER TWO WITH CRACKS IN THE SIDEWALLS. TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2010 KEYSTONE SPRINGDALE TRAVEL TRAILER. THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 60 MPH WITHOUT WARNING THE RIGHT REAR TIRE BLEW OUT. THE FRONT DRIVERS AND PASSENGER SIDE TIRES ALSO BLEW OUT. THE TRAILER WAS TAKEN TO A LOCAL DEALER WHERE THE FAILURE WAS UNABLE TO BE REPLICATED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE FAILURE.

BOTH TIRES ON REAR AXEL WORE OUT THE INSIDE AND OUTSIDE EDGES AND BLEW OUT. IT TORE UP WATER LINES AND SKIRTING. I'M TAKING IT TO SHOP, NOT CAMPING WORLD AS THERE ARE A BUNCH OF IDIOTS THAT TRY TO OVERCHARGE EVERY TIME I GO THERE, THE AIR PRESSURE WAS THE RECOMMENDED ON THE TIRES @ 50 PSI ALL TIRES WERE CHECKED PRIOR TO TRAVEL. THIS WAS THE FIRST LONG TRIP I HAD GONE ON SINCE BUYING THE CAMPER AND IT WAS A NIGHTMARE. *TR

IN LATE JUNE OF 2015, DRIVING BETWEEN HAILEY, IDAHO AND REXBURG, IDAHO ALL OF THE TREAD CAME OFF OF THE PASSENGER REAR TIRE OF MY 2010 SPRINGDALE 5TH-WHEEL TRAILER. THE TIRE NEVER LOST AIR PRESSURE AND WHEN CHECKED AFTER THE TIRE WAS CHANGED THE TIRE STILL HAD THE 50 LBS. THE TIRES ARE CARLISLE RADIAL TRAIL ST205/75R15'S. THE TREAD LOSS CAUSED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE TRAILER, LUCKILY NOT CAUSING A CRASH. ONCE THE TIRE WAS REPLACED ALL OF THE TRIES WERE CHECKED AND ANOTHER TIRE WAS FOUND TO HAVE CROOKED TREAD AND A BULGE IN THE CENTER OF THE TRE…

Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling various 2003-2018 Crossroads, Dutchmen, and Keystone recreational trailers equipped with Kidde Plastic-Handle or Push Button 'Pindicator' Fire Extinguishers. A list of the affected trailer models is available at: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2017/RMISC-17V755-5127.pdf. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or excessive force may be needed to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable. Consequence: In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.
Remedy: Keystone will notify owners and instruct them to contact Kidde for a replacement fire extinguisher, free of charge. The recall began on January 15, 2018. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-574-535-2100, or Kidde customer service toll-free at 1-855-262-3540, or online at www.kidde.com and click on "Product Safety Recall" for more information. Keystone's number for this recall is 17-307.
