77V078000 · Visibility:Windshield
Reported: 1977-05-24 (May 24, 1977)
ON THE INVOLVED VEHICLES, THE WINDSHIELD OPENING MAY BE SLIGHTLY OVERSIZED, WHICH COULD ALLOW THE WINDSHIELD GLASS TO DISLODGE FROM ITS BASE.
Remedy: DEALER WILL EITHER BUILD UP THE WINDSHIELD OPENING WITH FIBERGLASS OR INSTALL A LARGER WINDSHIELD, WITHOUT CHARGE.
NHTSA campaign record ↗79V030000 · Suspension:Multiple Axle
Reported: 1979-01-18 (January 18, 1979)
SOME OF THE INVOLVED VEHICLES MAY HAVE AN INSUFFICIENT WELD FILLET SIZE ON THE REAR AXLE SUSPENSION PERCHES WHICH MAY CREATE A CONDITION WHEREBY THE PERCHES COULD BREAK OFF.
Remedy: THE DEALER WILL INSPECT AND REWELD THOSE AXLE PERCHES WITH INSUFFICIENT WELDS, SO THAT WELD MATERIAL EXTENDS COMPLETELY TO THE EDGE OF THE PERCH. THIS WILL BE DONE AT NO COST TO OWNER.
NHTSA campaign record ↗82V034000 · Vehicle Speed Control:Linkages
Reported: 1982-04-14 (April 14, 1982)
IT MAY BE POSSIBLE FOR THE LCF THROTTLE ROD BELL CRANK TO MAKE CONTACT WITH THE RADIATOR SEAL. THIS CAN RESULT IN REDUCED ENGINE PERFORMANCE AND/OR THROTTLE RETURN.
Remedy: DEALER WILL MODIFY THE DRIVER SIDE RADIATOR SEAL TO ELIMINATE THE POSSIBILITY OF INTERFERENCE WITH THE THROTTLE ROD BELL CRANK.
