I HAVE A 2010 KAWASAKI'S VULCAN VOYAGER. EVERY SINCE THIS BIKE LEFT THE SHOW ROOM FLOOR IT HAS STALLED ON ME EVERY SO OFTEN AS I'M COMING TO A STOP, USUALLY AS I'M PULLING IN THE CLUTCH FROM 3RD GEAR TO 2ND. IVE CALLED THE DEALER WHERE I BOUGHT THE BIKE AND THEY HAVE DOCUMENTED THE PROBLEM. THAT'S ALL THAT WAS DONE WITH THAT. *TR

MY 2010 KAWASAKI VOYAGER 1700 HAS BOTH A SURGING AND STALLING PROBLEM. BOTH OCCUR WHEN THE AMBIENT TEMPERATURE IS ABOVE 75 DEGREES AND THE BIKE'S TEMPERATURE GAUGE IS AT THE TWO O'CLOCK POSITION (TRIGGERED BY WAITING AT A STOP LIGHT). UNDER THESE CONDITIONS THE BIKE WILL NOT PROPERLY ACCELERATE UPHILL CREATING A DANGEROUS SITUATION. DEALER HAS VERIFIED MY BIKE'S SYMPTOMS. HE ALSO REPORTS ONE OTHER DOING THE EXACT SAME THING. KAWASAKI ORIGINALLY DENIED THAT ANY SUCH PROBLEM EXISTS. THEY HAVE BLAMED MY CONCERNS ON RIDER ERROR. THE DEALER …

TRAVELING THROUGH SMALL TOWNS.THE TEMP WAS ABOUT 71 DEGREES, MY VEHICLE OVERHEATED EVERY TIME IN WENT THROUGH A SMALL TOWN. MY INSIDE OF MY LEG WAS BURNT FROM THE HEAT OFF THE EXHAUST. THERE IS NO PROTECTION FOR DRIVER OR RIDER.KAWASAKI KNOWS THERE IS A PROBLEM AS I HAVE RESEARCHED IT AND THE FORUMS HAVE VOLUMES OF REPORTS FOR THIS ISSUE AND MANY CONTACTS WITH KAWASAKI DEALERS AND FACTORY REPRESENTATIVES.
