TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 1999 KAWASAKI VN1500G1. WHENEVER THE VEHICLE IS STARTED, THE OIL LIGHT ILLUMINATES FOLLOWED BY A TAPPING NOISE COMING FROM THE UPPER END OF THE MOTORCYCLE. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN INSPECTED; HOWEVER, THE DEALER STATED THAT HE NEEDED A NEW MOTOR BECAUSE THE OIL PUMP MAY BE DEFECTIVE. THE VEHICLE HAS NOT BEEN MOVED SINCE THE FAILURE.
