Owner report 10048722 · 2003-11-26 (November 26, 2003)

THE VEHICLE CONSTANTLY LEAKED WATER FROM THE AIR CONDITIONER CONDENSER. THE WATER WAS LEAKING BETWEEN THE FIRE WALL AND THE FLOOR. THE MANUFACTURER SUGGESTED THAT A HOLE BE DRILLED NEAR THE CONDENSER SO THE WATER COULD DRIP OUT THEN SEAL THE HOLE UP. THIS SOLUTION DIDN'T WORK AND WITHIN THREE MONTHS THE WATER WAS THERE AGAIN. *NLM

I PURCHASED A USED SUV AND NOTICED THAT AFTER DRIVING FOR APPROX. 30 MINUTES THE CAR APPEARS TO HAVE DIFFICULTY MAKING A TURN. WHEN I DISCUSS THIS MATTER WITH TWO OTHER PERSONS WHO HAVE THE SAME CAR AS I, I WAS INFORMED THAT THEIR CAR HAS THE SAME IDENTICAL PROBLEM. ONE OWNER HAS HAD THE PROBLEM CORRECTED BY THEIR MECHANIC, THE OTHER CANNOT FIND THE REASONING. *NM
