I HAVE A 1993 JAGUAR XJ6 AND EVERY SEAT BELT MECHANISM EXCEPT THE DRIVERS' ONE IS BROKEN. THE DRIVER'S HOUSING IS BROKEN, BUT THE LATCH STILL WORKS. HOWEVER, AS I UNDERSTAND THE LAW, ALL SAFETY FEATURES ARE TO BE REPAIRED OR REPLACED BY THE MANUFACTURER IF THEY BECOME DEFECTIVE. PLEASE ADVISE.
