THE VEHICLE HAS AN ENGINE "AUTO STOP" FEATURE ENABLED BY DEFAULT. WHEN THE VEHICLE COMES TO A COMPLETE STOP, THE ENGINE SHOTS OFF AND WHEN THE FOOT IS REMOVED FROM THE BREAK, THE ENGINE STARTS. THERE IS AN APPROXIMATE 1 TO 1.5 SECOND DELAY IN THE ENGINE RESTARTING. UNLESS THE DRIVER INTENTIONALLY DISABLES THIS FEATURE EVERY TIME THEY GET INTO THE CAR, IT REMAINS ENABLED. THE REAR TAILPIPES PROTRUDE BEYOND THE REAR BUMPER COVER WHICH CAUSES BURNS WHEN LOADING/UNLOADING CARGO FROM THE REAR COMPARTMENT. THERE IS A TENDENCY TO LEAN AGAINST THE REAR COVER WHEN LOADING/UNLOADING CARGO THUS COMING INTO CONTACT WITH THE TAILPIPES. VEHICLE WAS STATIONARY, PARKED AND RECENTLY TUNED OFF.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 JAGUAR F-PACE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE REAR REVERSE CAMERA AND SENSORS FAILED TO OPERATE INTERMITTENTLY WITHOUT WARNING. IN ADDITION, THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING AT VARIOUS SPEEDS, THE INSTRUMENT PANEL AND MONITOR BECAME INOPERABLE. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO THE DEALER WHERE IT WAS DIAGNOSED THAT THE SOFTWARE FAILED HOWEVER, THE FAILURE WAS UNABLE TO BE REMEDIED. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE CONTACT THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 20.

I BOUGHT NEW 2017 JAGUAR F-PACE. BEEN INVOLVED IN 2 ACCIDENTS. NEITHER TIME DID AIR BAGS INFLAT. AIR BAG LIGHT WENT OFF AND SEAT BELTS LOCKED UP SECOND TIME. ONLY 4 SEAT BELTS LOCKED UP. ONLY I THE DRIVER WAS IN THE CAR. PASSENGER SIDE WASN'T LOCKED UP JUST DRIVER AND ALL 3 REAR SEATS. I AM CONCERNED ABOUT THE SAFETY OF MYSELF AND PASSENGERS IF I HAVE ANY. 1ST ACCIDENT 10 DAYS AFTER OWNING THE CAR. SECOND WAS 9 MONTHS. I HAVE NEVER HAD ACCIDENT MY FAULT WITH ANOTHER VEHICLE TIL OWNING THIS CAR. NOW 2 IN 8 MONTHS! BOUGHT CAR ON JUNE 30TH. 2016

F PACE INCIDENT WHILE TRAVELING EAST ON I-80, JUST PAST THE HIRSCHDALE EXIT, A SUDDEN ROCKING OF THE CAR OCCURRED ON ENTERING AN UPGRADE CURVE WHILE PASSING A TRUCK AT ABOUT 65 MPH. IT WAS THOUGHT TO BE A POSSIBLE BLOWN TIRE AND WE CHANGED LANES TRYING TO GET TO THE RIGHT-HAND (UPGRADE) TRUCK LANE. AS WE CONTINUED UPHILL IN THE TRUCK LANE, THE ROCKING OR SHAKING OF THE STEERING CONTINUED AND WE WERE AFRAID OF LOSING CONTROL OF THE CAR. THE WINDSCREEN WASHER NOZZLES APPLY WASHER FLUID AT VERY BASE OF WINDSHIELD, 90%+ OF THE FLUID GOES UNUSED, ONLY THE FLUID SPLASHED FROM THE WIPER BLADES PASSING THROUGH THE STREAM GETS TO THE NECESSARY PART OF THE WINDSCREEN. Reported: 2017-03-09 (March 9, 2017)
Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Jaguar) is recalling certain 2017 Jaguar F-PACE vehicles equipped with automatic transmissions. These vehicles may have been built with a rear driveshaft that is too short, potentially resulting the driveshaft separating from the vehicle.
Consequence: If the driveshaft detaches, a loss of drive power would result, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Jaguar will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the driveshafts, replacing any that are incorrect, free of charge. The recall began May 1, 2017. Owners may contact Jaguar customer service at 1-800-452-4827. Jaguar's number for this recall is H009.

Reported: 2017-08-04 (August 4, 2017)
Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Jaguar) is recalling one 2017 Jaguar F-PACE vehicle equipped with a 3.0L engine. A bolt used to attach the high pressure fuel pump may be too long. As a result, the fuel pump may not be properly secured and the fuel line may crack and leak.
Consequence: A fuel line crack may leak fuel into the engine compartment, increasing the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Jaguar will notify the owner, and a dealer will replace both fuel pumps and the associated fuel lines, free of charge. The recall began September 12, 2017. Owners may contact Jaguar customer service at 1-800-452-4827. Jaguar's number for this recall is H039.

Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Jaguar) is recalling certain 2017-2018 Jaguar XF and F-Pace, 2016-2017 Jaguar XJ and 2018 Jaguar XE vehicles. The instrument cluster (IC) may intermittently go blank.
Consequence: A blank instrument cluster will not show important information like vehicle speed, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Jaguar will notify owners, and dealers will update the vehicle software, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin December 19, 2017. Owners may contact Jaguar customer service at 1-800-452-4827. Jaguar's number for this recall is H056.

Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Jaguar) is recalling certain 2017-2018 F-Pace vehicles. The Instrument Cluster (IC) may intermittently go blank.
Consequence: A blank instrument cluster will not show important information like vehicle speed, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Jaguar will notify owners, and dealers will update the vehicle software, free of charge. The recall began on February 16, 2018. Owners may contact Jaguar customer service at 1-800-452-4827. Note: This recall expands the scope of vehicles recalled under 17V-678. Jaguar's number for this recall is H056.
