I REPLACED THE OEM FRONT KSMA2124702QP MERITOR BRAKES WITH THE NEW KSMA20014702QP REDUCED STOPPING DISTANCE MERITOR FRONT BRAKES AND AFTER ONLY 1060 MILES SAW THE LINING MATERIAL MOVING (BACK AND FORTH MOVEMENT) ON THE STEEL TABLE WHEN APPLYING AND RELEASING THE FOOT BRAKE WITH 95PSI IN SYSTEM WHILE LOOKING THROUGH THE BACKING PLATE! APPEARING TO BE LOOSE RIVETS HOLDING MATERIAL TO STEEL TABLE! CALLED MERITOR REPRESENTITIVE AND INFORMED HIM THEY WERE LOOSE! WAS TOLD TO REMOVE THEM AND INSTALL NEW ONES! WE (KUNA SCHOOL DIST.)HAVE 18 OF THESE IHC BUSES 2009-2014 THAT ALL HAVE THE SAME EMERGANCY WINDOWS. THEY UNLATCH THEMSELVES EVERY TIME YOU HIT A BUMP. IT SOUNDS THE BUZZER. I HAVE CONTACTED RUSH IN BOISE FOR 2 YEARS NOW FOR A FIX. NOBODY CAN GET THEM TO FIX THIS PROBLEM. THIS IS A SAFTY ISSUE AND SHOULD BE RECALLED. THEY WILL HAVE TO REDISIGN THE WINDOW. THEY HAVE STOPPED USING THIS STYLE SINCE. THIS TELLS ME THERE IS A PROBLEM THAT THEY KNOW ABOUT. PLEASE HELP US. THANK YOU

NAVISTAR IS RECALL 7,521 MY 2009 INTERNATIONAL MODEL TRUCKS AND MY 2009 AND 2010 IC SCHOOL AND TRANSIT BUSES MANUFACTURED FROM APRIL 1, 2008 TO DECEMBER 12, 2008, EQUIPPED WITH A HORTON 2-SPEED FAN DRIVE, IDENTIFIED BY FEATURE CODE 12THT. THE FASTENERS THAT CONNECT THE MAGNET BRACKETS TO THE AIR CHAMBER HOUSING OF THE 2-SPEED ENGINE FAN COULD FAIL RESULTING IN THE MAGNET BRACKET BEING THROWN FROM THE FAN DRIVE AND THE VEHICLE AT HIGH SPEED.
Consequence: THE BRACKET COULD SEPARATE AND STRIKE A PERSON OR MOTOR VEHICLE RESULTING IN PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY, AND/OR DEATH.
Remedy: NAVISTAR WILL NOTIFY OWNERS AND REPAIR THE VEHICLES BY REPLACING THE ENGINE FAN DRIVE AIR CHAMBER AND MAGNET BRACKETS FREE OF CHARGE. THE SAFETY RECALL IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN ON OR ABOUT JUNE 1, 2009. OWNERS MAY CONTACT NAVISTAR TOLL-FREE AT 1-800-448-7825.
