DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE SHIFTING GEARS AND ENGAGING THE THROTTLE THE MOTORCYCLE ALWAYS HESITATED AND THEN SURGED. THE CONTACT EXPERIENCED THROTTLE HESITATION AND SURGING SINCE PURCHASING THE VEHICLE. DEALER INSPECTED THE MOTORCYCLE, AND DETERMINED IT WAS MANUFACTURED THAT WAY AND COULD NOT BE CORRECTED. UPDATED 05/22/2006 - ON JANUARY 15, 2006 AT THE INTERSECTION OF HIGHWAY 50 AND US 19 THE MOTORCYCLE HESITATED FOR A FEW SECONDS AND THEN SURGED WHILE MAKING A LEFT TURN , RESULTING IN A CRASH. *AK *NM

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2007 (NA) HYOSUNG AQUILA. THE CORRECT YEAR WAS UNAVAILABLE IN THE DROP DOWN MENU. THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT START UNLESS THE GEAR WAS PLACED INTO NEUTRAL. THE VEHICLE WOULD ALSO NOT START WHEN THE CLUTCH WAS PULLED INWARDS. THE DEALER WAS UNABLE TO DIAGNOSE THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE BECAUSE THEY COULD NOT LOCATE THE SERIAL NUMBER. THE DEALER STATED THAT THE FAILURE WAS DESIGNED AS A SAFETY FEATURE. THE POWERTRAIN WAS UNKNOWN. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 74 AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 15,255.
