TL* THE CONTACT OWNS 2011 HONDA VT1300CT. THE CONTACT STATED THE VEHICLE STALLED THREE TIMES WITHOUT WARNING. WHEN THE FAILURE OCCURRED, HE WAS FORCED TO SHUT THE VEHICLE OFF FOR A FEW MINUTES BEFORE IT WOULD RESTART. THE VEHICLE WAS IN THE DEALERS POSSESSION FOR 12 DAYS WHERE THEY CORRECTED THE IDLE, BUT THAT DID NOT CORRECT THE FAILURE. THE CONTACT STATED THE VEHICLE FAILURE WAS IDENTICAL TO NHTSA RECALL CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER: 11V310000 (ELECTRICAL SYSTEM), BUT THE MANUFACTURER INSISTED IT WAS A SEPARATE ISSUE. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNKNOWN, …

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 HONDA FURY VT13CXB MOTORCYCLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 5 MPH, THE VEHICLE STALLED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT MENTIONED THAT THE FAILURE WAS RECURRING. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT TAKEN TO A DEALER FOR DIAGNOSTIC TESTING OR REPAIRS. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE WAS NOT REPAIRED. THE APPROXIMATE FAILURE AND CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 12,000.
