1995 HONDA ODYSSEY WITH 56,000 MILES. ABS LIGHT WENT ON INTERMITENTLY. TOOK THE CAR TO HONDA DEALER. WAS TOLD THERE IS A LEAK ON MODULATOR AND ACCUMULATOR. WAS ADVISED TO REPLACE THE MODULATOR ACCUMULATOR AT $1365. THIS HAS ACCOUNTED FOR OVER 20% OF THE COMPLAINS ON 1995 HONDA ODYSSEY ON NHTSA SITE. THERE WAS ALSO A SIMILAR DEFECT INVESTIGATION ON 1995 HONDA ACORD ABS. CALL FOR AN DEFECT INVESTIGATION ON HONDA ODESSEY.

VAN WOULD NOT START AND IGNITION SWITCH NEEDED REPLACEMENT AT A COST OF NEARLY $550. 1995 ODYSSEY WAS NOT INCLUDED IN LAST YEAR'S RECALL BUT I SUSPECT SWITCHES ARE FAULTY AMONG ALL EARLY MODELS BASED ON COMPLAINT REPORTS ON THIS WEBSITE AND OTHERS.

I RECEIVED A LETTER BACK FROM HONDA ON MAY 20, 2003 STATING THAT MY WARRANTY EXPIRED AND "WE WILL BE UNABLE TO OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE".
