Owner report 11327924 · 2020-06-09 (June 9, 2020)
BIKE WOULD NOT ACCELERATE IF I TWISTED THE THROTTLE. I WAS IN THE PROCESS OF OVERTAKING ANOTHER VEHICLE WHEN DOING THIS. BIKE STARTED BOGGING DOWN ONCE IT HIT 75MPH. I HAD TO EVENTUALLY SLOW DOWN AND GET BEHIND THE VEHICLE AS I WAS UNABLE TO SUFFICIENT SPEED TO OVERTAKE IT. *TR

Owner report 11329728 · 2020-06-19 (June 19, 2020)
WHILE RIDING ON HIGHWAY AT HIGHWAY SPEED, MOTORCYCLE SUDDENLY CUT POWER AND BEGAN STUTTERING. WOULD NO LONGER MAINTAIN SPEED AND WAS BOGGING DOWN, EVENTUALLY STOPPING COMPLETELY. SYMPTOMS EXACTLY THE SAME AS RUNNING OUT OF GAS, YET HAD PLENTY OF GAS IN THE TANK. AFTER STOPPING AND TURNING OFF THE MOTORCYCLE FOR 15 SECONDS, IT STARTED BACK UP AND CONTINUED TO JUST HAVE IT RECUR A RANDOM NUMBER OF MILES LATER. OTHER USERS OF THIS SAME MOTORCYCLE HAVE REPORTED THAT MATERIAL USED IN MANUFACTURING THE TANK IS FLAKING OFF WITH AROUND 3000 MILE…

Owner report 11329890 · 2020-06-21 (June 21, 2020)
THIS IS AN ONGOING PROBLEM WITH THE LARGE FUEL TANK IN THE SPORT ES MODELS. THERE ARE CONTAMINANTS INSIDE THE FUEL TANK THAT BREAK LOOSE AND END UP CLOGGING UP THE FUEL SYSTEM. THIS CAUSES THE MOTORCYCLE TO ABRUPTLY LOSE POWER OR EVEN STALL OUT. THIS IS EXTREMELY UNSAFE AND HONDA HAS NOT ADDRESSED THIS ISSUE IN A FORM OF A RECALL. THE PROBLEM HAS BEEN PRESENT IN PREVIOUS MODEL YEARS AND IS STILL PRESENT IN THE NEW REDESIGNED 2020 MODELS.

ACTS AS IF RUNNING OUT OF FUEL. SEVERAL TIMES, STARTING AT 1000 MILES. NOW HAS ABOUT 3700 MILES. HAPPENS WHILE IN MOTION ON HIGHWAYS AND CITY STREETS. OCCURRED 4 TIMES OVER A PERIOD OF 3 WEEKS. LAST INSTANCE GOING ABOUT 60 MPH IN BUMPER TO BUMPER TRAFFIC. MOTORCYCLE IS NOW AT THE DEALER FOR DIAGNOSIS AND REPAIR. DEALER HAS ORDERED FUEL PUMP BASED ON PRESSURE READINGS, HAS YET TO LOOK INTO FUEL TANK.

Owner report 11337202 · 2020-07-02 (July 2, 2020)
THE VEHICLE WILL STOP ACCELERATING ON AN INCLINE, VERY DANGEROUS WHILE TRYING TO PASS SLOWER MOVING VEHICLES IN THE MOUNTAINS. THE ISSUE WOULD TAKE PLACE BETWEEN SPEEDS OF 25MPH-70MPH. THE MOTORCYCLE WILL KILL SOMEONE IN THE WRONG SITUATION. PLEASE HELP TO STOP THE MANUFACTURER FROM PLACING UNSATISFACTORY VEHICLES ON THE ROAD.

Owner report 11337739 · 2020-07-06 (July 6, 2020)
THE MOTORCYCLE WILL FOR NO KNOWN REASON EXHIBIT A FUEL DELIVERY ISSUE AND BOG THE ENGINE, AS IN, IT WILL NOT DELIVER ANY POWER TO THE ENGINE. THIS IS UNSAFE DURING HIGHWAY SPEEDS AND AT INTERSECTIONS WHEN YOU ARE TRYING TO PROCEED WITH EXECUTING A MANEUVER.
