Owner report 10341342 ยท 2010-07-03 (July 3, 2010)

INSTRUMENT CLUSTER HOUSING ON 2001 HARLEY SPORTSTER XLS FAILED SPONTANEOUSLY AND COMPLETELY AT 13642 MILES AND 9 YEARS AND THE SPEEDO/TACH NEUTRAL LITE/SIGNAL INDICATOR BAR FLOPPED FORWARD ON TO THE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY. BOUGHT THE BIKE IN MARCH 2009, SO I DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS THE FIRST FAILURE OR NOT. AM NOW LOOKING FOR AN AFTERMARKET REPLACEMENT AFTER READING HOW MANY OTHERS HAVE HAD THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM. RODE 2 MILES HOME. *TR
