Owner report 10595367 · 2014-06-01 (June 1, 2014)

THE FUEL GAUGE INTERMITTENTLY GIVES INACCURATE READINGS. WHEN THE FIRST INCIDENT OCCURRED, THE FUEL GAUGE HAD PREVIOUSLY BEEN INDICATING ~1/4 OF A TANK REMAINING, BUT UPON STARTING IT THE DAY THE GAUGE JUMPED TO FULL, AND TOOK NEARLY 15 MINUTES TO SLOWLY DROP DOWN TO THE ACCURATE LEVEL. A FEW DAYS LATER, AFTER FILLING THE BIKE WITH GAS, THE GAUGE DID NOT REGISTER THE ADDED FUEL FOR THE DURATION OF A 10 MINUTE RIDE. *TR

THE FUEL GUAGE SHOWS INCORRECT READING... EVEN AFTER HAVING A TANK FULL THE INDICATOR KEEPS ON BOUNCING BETWEEN FULL TO EMPTY TO HALF RANDOMLY.

Owner report 10891783 · 2016-07-30 (July 30, 2016)

THE FUEL GAUGE IS COMPLETELY INACCURATE. I'VE COMPLAINED TO THE DEALER TO FIX IT, WHICH WORKED FOR A MONTH, BUT THE PROBLEM IS BACK. THE FUEL LIGHT IS ALWAYS ON AND RIGHT AFTER FILLING UP MY TANK THE GAS GAUGE WILL NOT GO ABOVE A QUARTER OF A TANK, IF IT GOES UP AT ALL.

MOTORCYCLE IS LESS THEN TWO YEARS OLD AND UNDER 10K MILES. AFTER CHANGING BREAK FLUID LIKE HARLEY SUGGESTED THE HYDRAULIC CONTROL UNIT STOPPED WORKING AND THE FRONT BREAKS LOCKED UP.

Owner report 11083617 · 2018-04-06 (April 6, 2018)

ON MY 2014 HARLEY DAVIDSON VROD NIGHTROD SPECIAL THE FRONT BRAKE LEVER IS ROCK HARD. I CAN BARELY SQUEEZE THE FRONT BRAKE. THE BACK BRAKE WORKS BUT FRONT DOES NOT. I WAS GOING 65MPH WHEN I PRESSED ON BOTH BRAKES AND I COULD NOT SQUEEZE THE FRONT BRAKE LEVER. LUCKILY MY BACK STILL WORKS. I HAVE SEEN ONLINE LOTS OF COMPLAIN ABOUT THE HARLEY DAVIDSON ABS MODULES GOING BAD. I ALSO ASKED THE DEALER IF THERE IS A RECALL AND THERE IS NO RECALL. THAT IS NOT SAFE WHEN THE FRONT BRAKE RANDOMLY STOPS WORKING.
