The contact owns a 2023 Harley Davidson FLTRT Road Glide. The contact stated that while working on the motorcycle, a friend became aware that the drive belt had separated from the teeth. There were three teeth missing. The teeth had delaminated. The local dealer was contacted and inquired if the motorcycle was ridden on gravel roads. The dealer confirmed there was no warranty coverage on the motorcycle for the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 3,000.

While trying to engage the reverse feature on this Road Glide 3 trike, it will not engage. This has happened many times and it gets worse overtime. As of this past Saturday, it would not engage at all.You turn the bike off and it will sometimes engage, but only for a moment or two it will not allow you to back up. It has not been used very much at all, but it will not work any longer. I use my feet to push me back 95% of the time to keep my legs strong, but there are times when I simply can’t push it because of a slight incline for a dip where …

The same as in a recall, you all have done for the 2024 and up Harley Davidson FLTRT Road Glide 3. NHTSA reference 26V2700 I’m not sure of the exact month that I first noticed it, but I believe it was in August or September 2025 when I noticed that oil had sprayed from the airbox all over my pipes, the sides of the bike and the engine. There was quite a bit of oil it also got on my clothing and it seemed much harder when breaking. I would have to use both the front and rear brakes in order to stop.
