I WAS DOING 70 (MPH) EAST HWY 52 AND I HEARD A LOUD POP AND MY MOTORCYCLE (H-D) STARTED GOING OUT OF CONTROL. I THOUGHT IT WAS A REAR WHEEL BLOW-OUT, I WAS LUCKY TO KEEP IT UNDERCONTROL AND PULLED OVER TO THE SHOULDER NEXT TO THE #1 LANE. A FRIEND WAS RIDING BEHIND ME ON HIS H-D AND SAW THE WHOLE THING. AFTER WE STOPPED, WE LOOKED AT THE REAR WHEEL AND DID NOT SEE ANY THING VISIBLE. ALTHOUGH MY FRIEND SAW MY REAR WHEEL WOBBLE AND HE THOUGHT I WAS GOING DOWN. I CALLED AMERICA ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE TO PICK ME UP AND TAKE THE BIKE TO SAN DIEGO …
