Reported: 2025-07-17 (July 17, 2025)

Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Lineage recreational trailers, equipped with Lippert Modularia entrance doors. The door latch mechanism may fail.

Consequence: Door latch failure may prevent occupants from exiting the vehicle in an emergency, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy: Dealers will install a new retainer clip and install a secondary retainer to the tension rod, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 12, 2025. Owners may contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design's number for this recall is M910051.

26V042000 · Structure:Critical Fasteners | Equipment:Electrical:Accessory Generator:Solar Panel

Reported: 2026-01-23 (January 23, 2026)

Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Lineage recreational vehicles. The adhesive securing the solar panels to the roof may fail, allowing the solar panel to detach.

Consequence: A detached solar panel can become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will properly secure the solar panels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 4, 2026. Owners may contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design's number for this recall is M910053. This recall has been superseded by Recall 26V276.

26V057000 · Equipment:Recreational Vehicle/Trailer:Plumbing:Freeze Prevention Heater

Reported: 2026-01-30 (January 30, 2026)

Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2026 Solitude recreational vehicles equipped with a ThermaHeat Tank Pad. The water tank heating pad may experience high resistance and fail.

Consequence: A heating pad failure can increase the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect the heating pads and replace as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on March 4, 2026. Owners may contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design's number for this recall is 910055/M910056.

26V058000 · Seats

Reported: 2026-01-30 (January 30, 2026)

Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Lineage motorhomes. The seat base on the driver and front passenger seat may have been improperly tightened, causing the base to become loose. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 207, “Seating Systems.”

Consequence: A loose seat base increases the risk of injury in the event of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and tighten the seat base, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 4, 2026. Owners may contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design's number for this recall is M910057.

Reported: 2026-03-20 (March 20, 2026)

Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Lineage motorhomes. The entry door position switch may not make adequate contact to read that the door is closed, which allows the steps to deploy unexpectedly.

Consequence: Steps extending while in transit increase the risk of a crash.

Reported: 2026-04-30 (April 30, 2026)

Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Lineage recreational vehicles. The driver and passenger seat bases may have not been tightened properly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 207, “Seating Systems.”

Consequence: A loose base may allow the seat to move during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and properly tighten the seat bases as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 15, 2026. Owners may contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design's number for this recall M910060.

Reported: 2026-07-10 (July 10, 2026)

Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2026-2027 Lineage recreational vehicles equipped with certain MaxxAir N-Series Maxxfan rooftop ventilation fans. The printed circuit board may fail during certain operations and overheat.

Consequence: An overheated printed circuit board increases the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the printed circuit board as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 21, 2026. Owners may contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design's number for this recall is M910063.

Reported: 2026-07-28 (July 28, 2026)

Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2026-2027 Lineage motorhomes equipped with the 20-inch wheel and tire package. The tire information label may state the incorrect rear tire pressure. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, "Wheels and Rims - Other than Passenger Cars."

Consequence: Incorrect tire pressure information can result in over inflated tires, increasing the risk of tire failure and a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 17, 2026. Owners may contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design's number for this recall is M910065.
