THE DASHBOARD IS CRACKING ON THE DRIVERS SIDE INSTRUMENT COVER AND RIGHT INTO THE AIR BAG DASH LOCATION. ONLY 43,000 MILES MAINLY GARAGE KEPT AND SUNSHADE INSTALLED WHEN OUT OF COVER.THE SAME THING HAPPENED ON A 2007 SUBURBAN.

DASHBOARD IS CRACKED AND CONTINUES TO GROW. DEALER SAID IT WAS $2000 TO FIX AND SAID ALMOST ALL OF THESE MODELS COME IN WITH THE SAME CRACK. THERE WAS NO SPECIFIC INCIDENT THAT LED TO THE CRACK.

MY VEHICLE WAS PARKED IN MY DRIVEWAY, STATIONARY, ON A SUBURBAN STREET IN A SMALL TOWN OVERNIGHT BEGINNING AT ABOUT 8PM ON FRIDAY AUGUST 12,2016. THE FOLLOWING MORNING, AUGUST 13, 2016 AT AT ABOUT 7:30 AM I ENTERED THE VEHICLE TO GO TO THE STORE AND OBSERVED A LARGE CRACK RUNNING PERPENDICULAR WITH THE DASH FROM NEAR THE WINDOW TO A OVER THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER.
