RECURRING FUEL PUMP PROBLEMS SINCE BRAND NEW. (3 TO DATE). MOST RECENT FAILURES CAUSED LOSS OF VEHICLE POWER ON HIGHWAY AT HIGH RATE OF SPEED 3 SEPARATE INCIDENTS. FIRST REPORTED IN EARLY SEPTEMBER, TOOK DEALERSHIP (EWING BUICK IN PLANO, TX). THEY COULD NOT RECREATE...YESTERDAY, HAPPENED AGAIN AND I COULD NOT RESTART, HAD TO GET TOWED. CONTACT STATES: ABS SYSTEMS IS CAUSING A LOT OF PROBLEMS. THERE ARE NO LIGHTS THAT SHOW ABS SYSTEM IS NOT WORKING CORRECTLY. AT LOW SPEEDS THE BRAKES WORK 6-7 MPH AND BELOW THEY FAIL TO PROVIDE STOPPING POWER, ACCOMPANIED BY A LOUD RETCHING NOISE. *AK
