LIKE MANY OTHERS THE MODULE THAT CONTROLS MY ABS ON 1999 GMC 1500 WENT BAD AT 81000 MILES. THE DEALER REAIR COSTS $1020. FROM READING THESE MESSAGE BOARDS IT APPEARS THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THESE UNITS THAT GM WILL NOT RECOGNIZE.THIS IS MY 4TH GM TRUCK AND THE ONLY ONE TO EVER HAVE THIS PROBLEM.

NOW I WELDED IT UP JUST TO GET ME BACK N FORTH TO WORK. WITCH IS STILL LIFE THREATENING BUT I HAVE NO OTHER CHOICE. I CAN NOT AFFORD A NEW TRUCK ESPECIALLY WHEN I STILL GOT 3000 TO PAY ON THIS ONE.
