TL* - THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING ON THE HIGHWAY BETWEEN 65-70 MPH THE FRONT WHEEL OF THE MOTORCYCLE CAME OFF.THE MOTORCYCLE WAS CONSIDERED A SPECIAL CONSTRUCTION MOTORCYCLE , AND HAD A KENNY BOYCE FRAME SERIAL NUMBER, PRO002838 ,AND THE MODEL WAS A CALIFORNIA PRO STREET, CAUSING THE MOTORCYCLE TO LOSE CONTROL, AND SENDING CONTACT UNDER A TRACTOR TRAILER, AND IT CAUGHT ON FIRE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT A MEDAL EXPERT TOOK A LOOK AT THE FRAME, AND FOUND HAIRLINE STRESS FRACTURE THAT CAUSED THE FRAME TO COME APART, WHICH LED THE FRON…

PASSENGERS' CLOTHING CAN UNKNOWINGLY BECOME CAUGHT IN THE HANDRAILS AT BUS DOORS WHEN EXITING THE BUS.
Consequence: WHEN A PASSENGER'S CLOTHING BECOMES CAUGHT IN THE HANDRAIL, AND THE BUS DRIVER CLOSES THE DOOR AND PUTS THE VEHICLE IN MOTION,THE INDIVIDUAL IS SUBJECT TO BEING DRAGGED BY THE BUS. THIS CAN RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL INSTALL A HALF-MOON SHAPED PART BEHIND THE HANDRAIL, AT THE LOWER END WHERE IT ATTACHES TO THE STEPWELL OF THE DOUBLE LEAF DOOR.
