NEWS ARTICLE ON TV ABOUT FIRES BEING CAUSED FROM HYDRAULIC BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH LEAKING ON HOT MANIFOLD CAUSING FIRES. OUR MOTOR HOME WAS BUILT ON A 1997 FORD E350 CHASSIS. I WENT TO A FORD DEALER IN THE AREA WE WERE CAMPING & THEY SOLD ME THE REPLACEMENT SWITCH. I INSTALLED THE SWITCH IMMEDIATELY. THE SWITCH # FROM DEALER [1L1Z*9G652*AA B22 KE REPAIR] DID NOT MATCH THE # ON RECALL SHEET. I EXPLAINED THAT I HAD REPLACED THE SWITCH PRIOR TO THE RECALL & THAT THE DEALER ASSURED ME THAT THIS WAS THE COORECT REPLACEMENT. IT WORKED FINE & LOOKS JUST …

THREE (3) BRIDGESTONE TIRES HAD BLOWN, BUT ONLY 2 HAD TREAD SEPARATION. TIRE SIZE 222/75R16. REAR RIGHT INSIDE, TIRE HAD 500 MILES, NO SEPARATION.
