Recall history

1 distinct campaigns affect this selection. Announcement dates below are different from vehicle model years. A campaign may cover multiple years.

00V400000 · Service Brakes, Air:Disc:Chamber

Reported: 2000-12-08 (December 8, 2000)

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: BOAT TRAILERS EQUIPPED WITH BRAKE SOLENOIDS MANUFACTURED BY KODIAK/IMS. AS A RESULT OF A DEFECTIVE SOLENOID VALVE, THE BRAKES MAY NOT ACTUATE PROPERLY, RESULTING IN THE BRAKES LOCKING UP ON TRAILERS HAULING BOATS.

Consequence: THIS CONDITION COULD RESULT IN A LACK OF BRAKING ON TRAILERS HAULING BOATS, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE THESE SOLENOID VALVES.
