The contact owns a 2021 Forest River XLR. The contact stated that while the trailer was parked, the contact noticed that the driver's side straps holding the water tank had detached. Additionally, the contact stated that the water tank detached and fell on the ground. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure; however, the contact was informed that the repair was not covered under the recall. The trailer was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The failure mileage was unknown.
