Reported: 2025-06-20 (June 20, 2025)

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Wildwood and Salem travel trailer recreational trailers. The exterior transit latch on the rear patio door cannot be unlocked from inside the vehicle.

Consequence: A door that remains locked can prevent or delay occupants from evacuating during an emergency, increasing the risk of injury.

Remedy: Dealers will remove the exterior transit latch, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 22, 2025. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-534-3167. Forest River's number for this recall is 69-1945.

25V682000 · Electrical System:Wiring

Reported: 2025-10-10 (October 10, 2025)

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Forest River Aurora, Coachmen Catalina, 2026 Coachmen Viking, Coachmen Clipper, 2016-2026 Wildwood, and Salem recreational trailers. The distribution panel wire may be connected to the battery without over current protection.

Consequence: Unprotected wiring can increase the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Dealers will relocate the distribution panel wire to the correct side of the breaker, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 18, 2025. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-825-4995. Forest River's number for this recall is 205-1987.

Reported: 2025-10-17 (October 17, 2025)

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2025 Stealth EVO, RPOD, 2025-2026 Wildwood, and Salem recreational trailers. The tire information label may list the incorrect tire inflation information.

Consequence: A tire can be overinflated after referencing the incorrect information, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the label, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 29, 2025. Owners of Salem, Wildwood, and Stealth EVO may contact Forest River customer service at 1-503-831-5410. Owner of RPOD may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-642-3112. Reported: 2025-10-17 (October 17, 2025)

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2026 Wildwood and Salem travel trailers. The exterior griddle may be stowed while still connected to LP gas line.

Consequence: A griddle stowed while the gas is still in use can increase the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and install a locking mechanism as necessary, free of charge. All vehicles are still in manufacturer control so no owner letters are needed. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-534-3167. Forest River's number for this recall is 44-1992.

Reported: 2026-05-29 (May 29, 2026)

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2024-2026 Wildwood, Salem and 2026 Stealth EVO travel trailers. The fireplace outlet may have the incorrect wiring.

Consequence: The incorrect wiring may not make adequate contact, increasing the amperage and risk of a fire.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the wiring and outlet, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 29, 2026. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-503-831-5410.

26V439000 · Equipment:Other:Labels

Reported: 2026-07-08 (July 8, 2026)

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2026-2027 Wildwood and Salem travel trailers. The Federal Placard may have the incorrect Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR). As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 120, "Wheels and Rims - Other than Passenger Cars."

Consequence: Referencing the incorrect GVWR may lead to unintentionally overloading the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will install a new corrected label, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 22, 2026. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-534-3167. Forest River's number for this recall 04-2075.
