The plate that holds the wiring guide to the outside edge of the off door slide is too long. This is causing the plate to slice into the tire as the tire moves upward in its range of motion during travel. Luckily, I caught this before the tires blew and could have caused a major accident.

25V550000 · Service Brakes, Hydraulic:Foundation Components:Hoses, Lines/Piping, And Fittings

Reported: 2025-08-26 (August 26, 2025)

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2018-2026 Riverstone fifth wheel trailers. The steel hydraulic brake lines may fail and leak brake fluid.

Consequence: A brake fluid leak can cause a loss of brake function, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the brake lines, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 19, 2025. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 260-593-2425. Forest River's number for this recall is 70-1957.
