I purchased my 2025 Palomino Columbus RV in February of 2025. I have towed it less than 600 miles, so including the delivery from the factory the RV has less than 2,000 miles. While inspecting the RV I noticed that the wheel spacing between the front and rear tires was different from side to side. The passenger (right) side was 5" but the driver's (left) side was 8.5". I inspected the suspension and found that the left side rear axle had slipped back on the leaf spring. The leaf spring centering pin had sheared allowing the axle to move back. T…

Reported: 2024-10-25 (October 25, 2024)
Forest River, Inc (Forest River) is recalling certain 2025 Palomino recreational vehicles. The axle equalizer may contact and damage the LP gas manifold, causing a propane leak.
Consequence: A propane leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Dealers will relocate the LP gas manifold, free of charge. All vehicles are still on dealer lots. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 269-432-3246. Forest River's number for this recall is 400-1857.
