DID FEEL CYCLING VIBRATION PRIOR TO FAILURE SUSPECT STEEL BELT FAILURE BUT WAS LESS THAN 20 MILES FROM HOME AND DID NOT THINK I COULD ISOLATE TIRE. DUE TO SO MANY FACEBOOK COMPLAINTS I WAS CONCERNED.

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2019 FOREST RIVER FREEDOM EXPRESS EQUIPPED WITH LIONS HEAD TIRES, TIRE LINE: CASTLE ROCK, TIRE SIZE: ST225/75/R15, DOT NUMBER: 3418. THE CONTACT STATED THAT WHILE DRIVING APPROXIMATELY 55 MPH, THE FRONT PASSENGER'S SIDE TIRE EXPLODED WITHOUT WARNING. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE BOTTOM SLIDE OUT, THE FENDER FOR THE PASSENGER SIDE DUAL TIRES, AND THE UNDERCARRIAGE WERE DAMAGED DUE TO THE FAILURE. The contact owns a 2019 Forest River Freedom Express equipped with Castle Rock ST Tires, Tire Line: Radial ST226, Tire Size: 205/75/R14, DOT Number: JUJTYMT0918. The contact stated while driving approximately 55 MPH, the front passenger’s side tire had a blowout and the tire disintegrated. The contact stated that the tread separated from the tire leaving the sidewalls on the rim. The contact replaced the tire with a spare and proceeded driving on the highway.
