1. COMPONENT FAILED / AVAILABLE FOR INSPECTION: Rear A/C and its electrical control box under the master bed failed completely on night one. The box suffered a severe thermal event (melted plastic odor, scorched components, with some smoke). The melted box and vehicle are available for inspection in my driveway. 2. SAFETY RISK: My husband and I were sleeping directly on top of the bed when the box beneath it began burning, creating an immediate fire and smoke-inhalation hazard while we slept. Reported: 2024-05-17 (May 17, 2024)
Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Solera, 2023-2025 Forester, and Sunseeker motorhomes. The Liquid Propane (LP) line may not be properly secured, which can cause the line to become damaged and leak.
Consequence: A propane gas leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Dealers will install a p-clamp to secure the LP line, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 28, 2024. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-206-7600. Forest River's number for this recall is 34-1780.

Reported: 2025-07-25 (July 25, 2025)
Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Sunseeker, Solera, Forester, Freelander, Leprechaun, and East to West Entrada motorhomes. The fuel line extension connectors may have inconsistent crimps, allowing the fuel line to detach.
Consequence: A detached fuel line can leak, increasing the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the fuel lines as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed beginning September 26, 2025. Entrada owners may contact customer service at 1-574-264-6664. Forester, Solera, and Sunseeker owners may contact customer service at 1-574-206-7600. Leprechaun and Freelander owners may contact customer service at 1-574-825-8602. Forest River's number for this recall is 51-1955.
