PURCHASED A BRAND NEW TRAVEL TRAILER FROM GANDER OUTDOORS. TOOK THE CAMPER OUT ON THE FIRST TRIP AND HAD A MASSIVE TIRE BLOW OUT. WE WERE TRAVELING ON A RURAL HIGHWAY, HAPPENED TO NOTICE SMOKE FROM THE SIDE VIEW MIRROR THEN SAW PIECES OF RUBBER FLYING EVERYWHERE. MOVED AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. THIS A NOT A SINGLE ISSUE, MOST FOREST RIVER OWNERS HAVE COMPLAINED. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE. The contact owns a 2020 Forest River Grey Wolf RV equipped with Castle Rock Tires, Tire Line: Radial ST226, Tire Size: 205/75/R14, DOT Number (Unavailable). The contact stated while performing a daily safety check, she noticed that the front passenger’s side tire had experienced a blowout. The contact stated that the steel belts were visible. The tire was not replaced. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 2,000.
