The contact owns a 2025 Forest River Cedar Creek Trailer. The contact stated that the trailer failed the annual Pennsylvania Inspection in November 2025 due to bent rear axle springs, primarily affecting the driver’s side rear axle spring assembly. The trailer was equipped with two axles. The contact stated that the springs installed on the trailer were not appropriate for the trailer weight rating. The door in the second bedroom will not open if the sofa is opened to a bed. When the bed is open you cannot access the room from outside and you can not exit the room. The specification brochure shows that the door is supposed to open out to eliminate the problem, however the door was installed incorrectly in all of the 2025 models. When contacting Forest River they are denying saying that the door was designed that way with an emergency window in the room. 24V883000 · Tires | Suspension:Multiple Axle

Reported: 2024-11-22 (November 22, 2024)

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2025 Cedar Creek CRT40RDE Fifth Wheel trailers. Undersized axles and tires may have been installed, which can lead to a tire detaching. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 120, "Wheels and Rims - Other Than Passenger Cars."

Consequence: A detached tire increases the risk of crash.

Remedy: Dealers will replace axles and tires, free of charge. The two affected vehicles have not been sold from dealer inventory and therefore no owner letters will be mailed. Forest River's customer service number is 1-260-593-4000. Forest River's number for this recall is 20-1873.

25V245000 · Structure:Body:Step/Ladder

Reported: 2025-04-14 (April 14, 2025)

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Coachmen Catalina, Forest River Aurora, Cascade, Cedar Creek, Cherokee, Sandpiper, Sierra, 2025 Campsite Reserve, Impression, Pause, Puma, Sabre, Salem, Vengeance, and Wildwood fifth wheel and travel trailers, equipped with a removable step assembly. The clip-on bracket mounting bolts may come loose, allowing the steps to detach.

Consequence: Steps that detach while in use increase the risk of injury.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and repair or replace the clip-on bracket as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 28, 2025. 26V020000 · Equipment:Recreational Vehicle/Trailer | Structure:Body:Door

Reported: 2026-01-19 (January 19, 2026)

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2023-2026 Forest River Work and Play, 2024-2026 East to West Takoda, Coachmen Chaparral, 2025-2026 Shasta Phoenix, 2023-2025 Forest River Riverstone, 2022-2026 Coachmen Adrenaline, and 2025 Forest River Cedar Creek fifth wheel travel trailers. The ramp door may break away from the door frame while loading or unloading vehicles.

Consequence: A ramp door that breaks during use increases the risk of injury.

Remedy: Dealers will install additional support brackets, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 18, 2026.
