ISSUE: DOORS TO THE UNDER CABIN STORAGE WERE INSTALLED UPSIDE DOWN ALLOWING LARGE AMOUNTS OF WATER TO LEAK INTO CABIN AREA. FOREST RIVER DID HAVE KNOWLEDGE OF THE PROBLEM WITH THE UNIT AND THE ENGINEERS WERE WORKING A SOLUTION, HOWEVER THEY CONTINUE TO SELL THE UNITS. I RECEIVED MY UNIT IN JANUARY 2017.ENGINEERS HAVE NOT DEVELOPED A SOLUTION AS OF TODAY. SAFETY CONCERNS: MOLD THROUGHOUT THE CABIN AREA. OWNERS MANUAL STATES TO KEEP HUMIDITY AT 30 TO 50%. TO PREVENT MOLD. WITH THIS MODEL IT'S IMPOSSIBLE BECAUSE OF DESIGN TO MAINTAIN CORRECT HUM…

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2017 FOREST RIVER BLUE RIDGE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE STORAGE DOORS OPENED UPWARDS INSTEAD OF DOWNWARDS, WHICH CAUSED RAIN WATER TO ENTER. THE DEALER (SMALLWOOD'S TRAILERS AND CAMPERS, 4305 US-45 JACKSON, TN 38305) ADVISED THE CONTACT TO BRING THE CAMPER IN FOR A TRADE IN. THE MANUFACTURER WAS ALSO CONTACTED AND OFFERED TO REPAIR THE CARPET AND DOORS. THE VIN AND FAILURE MILEAGE WERE NOT AVAILABLE.
