WINDOW CRANK AND DOOR HANDLE. WEARS PREMATURELY, WINDOW CRANK KNOB COMES OFF, DOOR HANDLE SPRINGS BROKEN OR MISSING CAUSE DOOR HANDLE TO BE SENSITIVE TO OPENING PRESSURE. WHILE ROLLING UP OR DOWN WINDOW WRIST WATCH CATCHES ON DOOR HANDLE , DOOR POPS OPEN DRIVER FALLS OUT AND IS RUN OVER BY VEHICLE. RESULTS IS DEATH. RECOMMEND ISSUING BULLETIN TO ALL OWNERS OF LT 9000 TRUCKS TO CHECK WINDOW AND DOOR OPENING MECHANICALS FOR PARTS FAILURE. *JB

HAND THROTTLE CONTROLS WERE NOT IDENTIFIED EITHER ON THE CONTROL KNOB OR ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL AS REQUIRED BY FMVSS 101. CONSEQUENCE OF DEFECT: TRUCKS ARE NOT IN COMPLIANCE WITH FMVSS 101, CONTROLS AND DISPLAYS.
Remedy: WORD THROTTLE WILL BE AFFIXED ON OR ADJACENT TO THE THROTTLE CONTROL.
