AIR OPEN/SPRING CLOSED TYPE EXIT DOOR MAY BE INCORRECTLY WIRED.
Consequence: DRIVER CAN DRIVE OFF WITH EXIT DOOR NOT CLOSED AND LOCKEDWHICH COULD RESULT IN A PASSENGER FALLING OUT OF THE EXIT DOOR WHILE THE BUS ISMOVING.
Remedy: CORRECT DOOR WIRING AND READJUST DOORS.

THE ENTRANCE DOOR EMERGENCY RELEASE MECHANISM MAY EXCEED THE 20 LB. FORCE ALLOWED BY FMVSS 217.
Consequence: BUSES WOULD NOT COMPLY WITH STANDARD.
Remedy: REPAIR RELEASE CABLE MECHANISM TO COMPLY WITH STANDARD.
