THIS PRETAINS TO CAMPING TRAILERS. THOR MANUFACTURER CREATES DUTCHMEN 5TH WHEEL TRAILERS. MY GIRLFREIND AND I PURCHASED A NEW DUTCHMEN/VICTORY LANE 35FT 5TH WHEEL TOY HAULER AND THE AXLES ARE MOUNTED OFF CENTER. THIS MAKES THE TIRES FACE AT AN ANGLE AND THE TRAILER DOES NOT TRACK CORRECTLY. THIS IS A HAZARD AND THE DEALERSHIP WE PURCHASED THE TRAILER AT WILL NOT FIX IT. THE MANUFACTURER WILL NOT HELP. I AM ASKING YOU AS THE DOT TO HAVE ALL THE 2005 DUAL AXLE TRAILERS THAT THOR MANUFACTURING HAS MADE TO BE RECALLED DUE TO THE AXLES BEING MOUNTED…

WE PURCHASED A BRAND NEW 26' FLEETWOOD TERRA MOTORHOME. ON THE FIRST TRIP IT WAS A BIT HARD TO MANAGE AT SPEEDS ABOVE 55 MPH. I BLAMED INEXPERIENCE AND WEATHER CONDITIONS, ALTHOUGH OTHER RIGS WERE PASSING ME LIKE I WAS STANDING STILL. FOUR HUNDRED MILES TRAVELED. AT 53 MPH EXITING THE FREEWAY AT A REST AREA. THE ENTIRE RIGHT FRONT WHEEL CAME OFF. THIS WAS THE WHEEL DRUM AND BRAKE ASSY. IT LODGED ITSELF UP IN THE COOLING OF THE MOTORHOME. IT ALMOST CRASHED AND NEARLY FLIPPED OVER. A FIRE WAS PUT OUT AT SCENE PRETTY QUICKLY. I WAS TOLD A BAD WHEE…

ON CERTAIN CLASS C MOTOR HOMES, THE RANGE TOP LIQUID PROPANE GAS (LPG) CONNECTION LINE IS A FLEXIBLE HOSE CONNECTOR. THIS HOSE IS ROUTED IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO A BURNER AND MAY MELT WHEN EXPOSED TO HIGH HEAT FOR A PERIOD OF TIME.

Consequence: IF MELTING OCCURS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR A FIRE.

Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE RUBBER LPG HOSE CONNECTION IN THE RANGE TOP WITH A COPPER LPG CONNECTION. THE RECALL BEGAN ON SEPTEMBER 27, 2004. OWNERS SHOULD CONTACT FEETWOOD AT 1-800-322-8216.
