THE SLIDING FLOOR IN THE ENTRY OF THE MOTORHOME IS OPERATED BY A SWITCH THAT IS EASILY OPERATED BY A SMALL CHILD WHILE STANDING ON THE ENTRY STEPS. WE HAVE EXPERIENCED A INCIDENT WHERE A 32 MONTH OLD CHILD WAS EJECTED FROM OUR STATIONARY MOTOR HOME, SUFFERING HEAD TRAUMA. FLEETWOOD DOES NOT WANT TO ADDRESS THIS PROBLEM AND HAS NOT REPORTED OUR INCIDENT TO NHTSA, IN DIRECT VIOLATION OF LAW. ALSO, THEY HAVE NOT PROVIDED AN ADEQUATE AND ACCEPTABLE FIX TO THIS PROBLEM. CAMPER WAS PARKED WITH AIR CONDITIONER RUNNING WHEN CONSUMER SMELLED SMOKE, AND SAW SMOKE COMING FROM OUT OF THE VENTS IN CEILING. CONSUMER AIR CONDITIONER CAUGHT ON FIRE. CONSUMER FELT IF THEY WERE SLEEPING THIS COULD HAVE BEEN DEADLY. PLEASE PROVIDE ANY FURTHER INFORMATION.*AK
