THIS TIRE WAS INSTALLED ON A BOAT TRAILER IN 1990, WHEN DRIVING TO THE COAST ON 7/25/2000, GOING 55 MILES PER HOUR, WE NOTICED A SUDDEN IRREGULAR FEELING TO THE TRAILER. THIS WAS A SINGLE AXLE BOAT TRAILER, HAULING A 16 FOOT DORY BOAT. WHEN CHECKING THE BEARINGS BEFORE LAUNCIHNG THE BOAT INTO THE WATER, (@ 30 MINUTES AFTER FEELING THE IRREGULARITY) THE TIRE WAS DISCOVERED TO BE MISSING ALMOST ITS ENTIRE TOP LAYER.
