While driving on [XXX] in Alabama, the pin attaching tow bar to receiver hitch broke appartently due to "ovaling out" of the steel hole on one side of the tow bar. The Jeep Grand Cherokee I was towing came loose as a result and was only secured by the safety chains. Both the Jeep and the RV were damaged and had to be repaired. Fortunately no one was injured but the situation could have easily turned deadly for those following me on the interstate. 20V442000 · Electrical System:12v/24v/48v Battery
Reported: 2020-07-29 (July 29, 2020)
REV Recreation Group (REV) is recalling certain 2019-2020 Fleetwood Pace Arrow motorhomes, models 33D, 36U, 35QS, 35S, 35RB and 35E. The auxiliary batteries, located inside the interior step compartment, were secured in place with a metal hold-down bracket secured with carriage bolts and standard nuts. This hardware may loosen and allow the metal hold-down bracket to shift or move and make contact with the battery terminals.
Consequence: If the bracket contacts the battery terminal it may short circuit, increasing the risk of a fire.
Remedy: REV will notify owners, and dealers will install replacement battery hold-down mounting hardware, free of charge. The recall began September 17, 2020. Owners may contact REV customer service at 1-800-509-3417. REV's number for this recall is 200728REV.

REV Recreation Group (REV) is recalling certain 2019-2025 Holiday Rambler Admiral, 2018 Holiday Rambler Admiral XE, Fleetwood Storm, 2023-2025 Holiday Rambler Eclipse, Fleetwood Flex, 2018-2025 Fleetwood Flair, 2020-2024 Fleetwood Fortis, 2020-2025 Holiday Rambler Invicta, 2018-2023 Fleetwood Pace Arrow, and 2018-2019 Holiday Rambler Vacationer XE motorhomes, equipped with the HappiJac drop down bed option. The front overhead cabinet fasteners can break, allowing the overhead cabinet to detach.
Consequence: A cabinet that detaches while the vehicle is in motion can distract the driver, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and install new hardware and fasteners as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 7, 2024. Owners may contact REV customer service at 1-800-509-3417. REV's number for this recall is 240809REV.
