TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2006 KARAVAN UTILITY TRAILER (NA). ON TWO DIFFERENT OCCASIONS, WHILE DRIVING 55 MPH, THE FRONT PASSENGER SIDE U-BOLT SNAPPED. THE AXLE IS CURRENTLY LOOSE. THE DEALER WAS NOTIFIED, BUT HAS NOT DETERMINED THE CAUSE OF THE FAILURE. THE U-BOLT SNAPPED FOR THE SECOND TIME ON MARCH 13, 2008. THE FAILURE OCCURRED WHEN DRIVING OVER A BUMP IN THE ROAD. THE U-BOLT AND FENDER WERE REPLACED THE FIRST TIME, AND ONLY THE U-BOLT THE SECOND TIME. NO OTHER VEHICLE INFORMATION WAS AVAILABLE.
