THIS SUMMER I HAVE HAD TWO INCIDENTS WITH POWER KING TOWMAX TIRES ON MY BOAT TRAILER. THE SIZE OF THE TIRE IS 215 75R14. I PURCHASED THEM IN SPRING OF 2007 AND THEY HAVE HAD MINIMAL USE SINCE THEN. I HAVE USED THE BOAT ON WEEKEND TRIPS OF A MAX OF AROUND 200 MILES PERIODICALLY THROUGH OUT THE SUMMERS. THERE WAS MORE TREAD LEFT ON THE TIRE THAN I USED UP. THE BOAT IS STORED UNDER AN OVERHANG OPEN GARAGE WITH SIDES THAT KEEP THE TIRES SHADED. IN 7/2014 THE TREAD CAME OFF A TIRE BUT STAYED INFLATED FOR ANOTHER 5 MILES UNTIL I GOT HOME. ONLY THEN D…
