I was issued a recall, Recall No. 26V065, on my 2026 Ember E Series camper. The recall was in regard to the Unloaded Vehicle Weight and the Cargo Carrying Capacity listed on the certification label being incorrect. My issue is that when i reached out to the vendor, they indicated this was the second recall affecting a total of 3 model years, but they have only been in business 6 years (since 2021). Reported: 2026-02-04 (February 4, 2026)
Ember Recreational Vehicles, INC (Ember) is recalling certain 2026 E-Series and Overland Series travel trailers. The incorrect Unloaded Vehicle Weight and Cargo Carrying Capacity (CCC) information may be listed on the Federal Certification Label. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."
Consequence: Incorrect weight information may lead to unintentionally overloading the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Ember will mail corrected labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 18, 2026. Owners may contact Ember customer service at 1-844-732-4204.
