Owner report 10382927 · 2011-02-16 (February 16, 2011)
WE HAVE JUST PURCHASED A NEW 28' 2010 DYNAMAX ISATA RV, MODEL 282 AND SUGGEST THAT A RECALL OF THIS CLASS OF VEHICLE FOR A STEERING PROBLEM. AT 45 MPH OR LESS, STEERING IS NORMAL, AT 55 MPH IT IS BAD, AT 65 MPH, IT'S LIKE DRIVING ON ICE, SUPER SCARY. AT 70, IT'S OUTRIGHT TERRIFYING. I HAVE DRIVEN LARGE MOTORHOMES FOR MORE THAN 11 YEARS AND NEVER WAS SO SCARED ON THE INTERSTATES. I WEIGHED THE VEHICLE AT A CAT SCALE WITH NO PERSONAL STUFF ONBOARD AND ONLY 1/2 TANK OF GASOLINE. THE TOTAL GROSS WEIGHT WAS 13,600 LBS, WITH 4540 LBS ON THE FRONT…

Owner report 10419818 · 2011-08-17 (August 17, 2011)
DANGEROUS STEERING PROBLEMS RELATED TO AIRLIFT REAR AIR SUSPENSION SYSTEM. FRAGILE SENSOR SUPPORT BRACKET BROKE OFF WHEN NEW, CAUSING THE MAGNETIC SENSOR TO COMMAND THE LEFT REAR AIRBAG TO INFLATE AND DEFLATE ERRATICALLY. WITH EACH INFLATION, THE VEHICLE SWERVES TO THE RIGHT, EACH DEFLATION CAUSES THE VEHICLE TO SWERVE TO THE LEFT. IMPOSSIBLE TO REMAIN IN A SINGLE LANE. EXTRAORDINARILY DANGEROUS SITUATION. ALL 2010 DYNAMAX ISATA 282S SHOULD BE ORDERED OFF THE ROADS. EMERGENCY RECALL RECOMMENDED. *KB
