Owner report 10510715 · 2013-05-05 (May 5, 2013)

I HAVE A 2010 DUCATI 848, ONE DAY I NOTICED THAT IT WAS LEAKING GASOLINE FROM THE FUEL OVERFLOW HOSE ITS A PRETTY CONSTANT DRIP, IT PROBABLY DRIPS ONCE EVERY 3-5 SECONDS. IT DOES IT MORE SO WHEN ITS HOT AND HUMID OUT. I THOUGHT IT WAS BECAUSE OF THE GASOLINE EXPANDING IN THE HEAT WHEN I FIRST NOTICED IT BUT IT DID NOT MAKE A DIFFERENCE IF THE TANK WAS FULL OR HALF FULL. IT'S A BIG HAZARD BECAUSE THE BIKE IS IN A GARAGE AND IF IT GETS SLIGHTLY HUMID IN THERE, IT BEGINS TO LEAK AND CAUSES A LOT OF VAPORS AND FUMES MAKING IT EXTREMELY HARD TO BREA…

1ST ISSUE IS WHEN COMING TO A STOP OR AT A STOP LIKE WITH BIKE IN NEUTRAL, IS WILL RANDOMLY SHUT OFF WITH OUT WARNING, AND WITHOUT AN ENGINE CODE. IT HAPPENS 3-4 TIMES A DAY. SECOND ISSUE IS MY BIKE LEAKS FUEL RANDOMLY DEPENDING ON THE TEMP OF THE DAY I NOTICE IT ALOT IN MY GARAGE. SEARCH ONLINE AND THERE ARE A TON OF FORMS OF PEOPLE EXPERIENCING THE SAME ISSUE.
