(2) FAILURE AND ITS CONSEQUENCES AND ARE THAT WE ARE PURCHASING A 2005 DODGE RAM 1500 SERIES TRUCK THAT HAS BEEN TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER UNION CHRYSLER DODGE IN UNION, SC FOR SERVICE DUE TO THE ENGINE WILL CUT OFF WHILE DRIVING.....IT HAS BEEN TAKEN BACK SEVERAL TIMES FOR THIS PROBLEM AND THE MECHANIC CANNOT SEEM TO LOCATE THE PROBLEM.....IT WAS A NEAR CALL THE OTHER WEEK WHEN THE TRUCK CUT OFF AS CROSSING A RAILROAD TRACK---WHAT WOULD THE CONSEQUENCES WOULD HAVE BEEN WITH IT CUTTING OFF ON THE TRACK-----LOST OF LIFE AND LIMB.......*JB

THIS HAS BEEN A PROBLEM ON AND OFF FOR 2 YEARS. DEALER UNABLE TO FIND PROBLEM. WHILE DRIVING OUR 2005 DODGE RAM 1500 PICK UP THIS LAST WEEKEND, AS WE ACCELERATED IN TRAFFIC, THE TRUCK ENGINE CHOKED AND THEN BEGAN TO STALL. WE HAD JUST TURNED ON TO THE HIGHWAY WHEN THE ENGINE POWER BEGAN TO FAIL FOR THE FIFTH TIME. WE WERE ALMOST HIT BY ON COMING TRAFFIC DUE TO THE ENGINE FAILURE . *JB

2005 DODGE RAM 1500 P/U TRUCK BOUGHT NEW IN 12/2005...BROUGHT TO DEALER @ 5,655 MILES WITH WARPED ROTORS, CAUSING THE TRUCK TO SHAKE WHEN BRAKING. BRAKE ROTORS WERE CUT...PROBLEM TEMPORARILY SOLVED. RETURNED TO DEALER @ 9,712 MILES....FOR THE SAME PROBLEM. THIS TIME THE ROTORS WERE REPLACED...BUT THE ORIGINAL BRAKE PADS WERE RE-INSTALLED. AT 17,000 MILES....TRUCKS BEGINS TO SHAKE AGAIN WHILE BRAKING... RETURNED TO THE SAME DEALER @ 20,727 MILES...THEY SAID THE FRONT ROTORS WERE WARPED AGAIN...THOUGH IT WAS OUT OF WARRANTY. CUSTOMER HAS A VOQ (10170663) AND WANTS A RESPONSE LETTER TO THE QUESTION ABOUT HAVING TO DRIVE AN UNSAFE TRUCK**CC THE CONSUMER STATED HE PLACED THE VEHICLE IN PARK, GOT OUT OF THE TRUCK, OPENED THE TAILGATE AND THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTED INTO REVERSE. THE CONSUMER WAS ABLE TO GET OUT OF THE WAY. THE CONSUMER STATED ADDING AN ALARM DOESN'T SOLVE THE PROBLEM. *JB
