I PURCHASED A BRAND NEW 2010 GRAND CARAVAN SE IN JANUARY. WHILE MAKING A TURN OVER A PUDDLE OF WATER THE CAR POWERED DOWN, I.E. LOST POWER STEERING AND ALL CONTROL. I THEN TOOK THE KEY OUT AND PUT IT BACK IN AND IT POWERED UP. THIS OCCURRED WITHIN THE 1ST 100 MILES. AT 350-400 MILES IT STARTED TO POWER DOWN WHILE STOPPING AT A RED LIGHT BUT DID NOT COMPLETELY SHUT DOWN. THIS OCCURRED AGAIN BETWEEN 450-500 MILES. I TOOK THE CAR INTO THE DEALER & THEY COULD NOT FIND A PROBLEM. I CONTACTED THE DEALER FOR EACH OCCURRENCE. NO ACCIDENTS, YET. *TR…

WE PURCHASED A 2010 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN IN DECEMBER 2010. THREE WEEKS AGO AS I WAS PULLING OUT OF A DRIVEWAY THAT HAD A DRAIN GUTTER DIP THE VAN SHUT OFF COMPLETELY. I HIT THE DIP AT ABOUT 10 MPH. AFTER ONE WEEK AND NO MORE INCIDENTS, THEY REMOVED THE COMPUTER. HAVE NOT BEEN DRIVING THE VAN SINCE THEN. TOO SCARED. DROVE TODAY 5/12/10 AND SHUT DOWN AGAIN. THIS TIME UPON ACCELERATING FROM PARKING LOT SPEED OF ABOUT 6-8 MILES AS THE DOORS AUTOMATICALLY LOCKED THE ENGINE CUT OUT. SCHEDULED TO TAKE TO THE DEALER FOR THEM TO TAKE A LOOK AT IT. *TR

I BOUGHT A 2010 DODGE GRAND CARAVAN SXT. THE COMPANY WILL NOT TURN ON THE DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS. THEY ALWAYS TURNED THEM ON WHEN I BOUGHT PREVIOUS YEAR VANS. IT HAS BEEN PROVEN TO BE A WORTHWHILE SAFETY ITEM. MY INSURANCE COMPANY WOULD GIVE ME A 10% REDUCTION FOR THIS ITEM. THE OPTION IS AVAILABLE AND TURNED ON FOR VEHICLES SOLD IN CANADA. I FEEL THIS IS A SERIOUS FAULT THAT WILL RESULT IN MORE CRASHES FOR THIS VEHICLE. *TR

This defect can affect the safe operation of the airbag system. Until this recall is performed, customers should remove all items from their key rings, leaving only the ignition key. The key fob (if applicable), should also be removed from the key ring. Chrysler Group LLC (Chrysler) is recalling certain model year 2009-2010 Dodge Journey vehicles manufactured June 29, 2007, to June 17, 2010, and 2008-2010 Dodge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town and Country vehicles manufactured January 26, 2007, to June 17, 2010.
