Accelerator pedal was delayed coming back up when pressed. It is available for inspection. Because of this happening while I was parking the car, it collided with a tree about 20 feet in front of it. I’ve also noticed the car will sometimes accelerate on its own at speeds below 20 mph. I am taking the vehicle to a body shop on Monday to get fixed and be inspected.

Forward collision warning: activates randomly. I had to decrease the warning sensitivity to near to reduce the rate at which I was receiving false alarms. Powertrain: noticeable delay after shifting down when using paddle shifters in manual mode. Electrical: The in dash audio radio station seeks down without user input.

Back-up camera: vehicle equipped with an analog camera which at times will not clearly display the view to the rear of the vehicle. Had the camera looked at by the selling dealer who advised that the issue was due to the quality and design of the camera the rear view under certain lighting conditions (in daylight) displayed a washed out display. I have other vehicles with back-up cameras that do not display this condition.

I purchased my 2023 Dodge Charger Scatpack 392 on July 22, 2024 and a week later I began to notice that each time I would backup and then shift into drive. There would be a 3 to 4 second delay in the transmission engaging with the drive shaft and when contact was made there's a hard thump that's felt throughout the car. I returned to the dealership and made a complaint about the issue I was having with the transmission and a transmission re-tune was done according to the service technician, but the problem is still persistent. The contact owns a 2023 Dodge Charger. The contact stated while driving 20-30 MPH and depressing the brake pedal, the engine revved to 1,500 RPMs several times. Additionally, the contact stated that the hill assist caused the rear wheels to lock up, and the vehicle lurched forward, nearly striking the rear of a stopped vehicle. Transmission slippage when shifting from reverse to drive that causes a 2-3 second delay before transmission engages. Service manager at Cannons (CDJR) in Greenwood, MS advised that the cause of the slippage was due to fluid friction and that Dodge was aware of the issue, but hadn't issued a recall notice because they (Dodge) didn't know what was causing the problem with the transmission. The service manager advised me to just continue driving the car until further notice.

24V112000 · Parking Brake
Reported: 2024-02-15 (February 15, 2024)
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2023 Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger, and Dodge Challenger vehicles. The parking brake may be improperly adjusted, which can result in a vehicle roll away. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 135, "Light Vehicle Brake Systems."
Consequence: A vehicle roll away increases the risk of a crash or injury.
Remedy: Dealers will properly adjust the parking brake, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 29, 2024. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 01B.

Reported: 2024-08-01 (August 1, 2024)
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2023 Dodge Charger vehicles. The left rear seat back may not lock in the upright position. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 207, "Seating Systems."
Consequence: A seat back that is not locked into position can increase the risk of injury in a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and adjust the seat back latch striker as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 15, 2024. Owners may contact FCA US, LLC customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA US LLC's number for this recall is 37B.
