While the motorhome is traveling down the road, hitting any dips or bumps in the road at any speed, one of the supports for the coach frame hits the helper springs in the rear of the coach. Also, at the front end of the spring, the head of the shackle bolt rubs against one of the welded brackets. Coachmen RV installed helper springs that are manufactured by Super Springs Inc on the rear suspension of the Ford E450 Class C motorhomes. It is part of their “CRV Comfort Ride” package.
