The contact owns a 2026 Forest River Coachmen Adrenaline. The contact stated that while using the generator to activate the A/C system, the carbon monoxide detector alarm alerted the contact's brother of possible carbon monoxide in the RV. The contact's brother attempted to wake the contact, but he was disoriented and did not wake up immediately. The contact and his brother safely exited the RV, but medical attention was not received. Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2023-2026 Forest River Work and Play, 2024-2026 East to West Takoda, Coachmen Chaparral, 2025-2026 Shasta Phoenix, 2023-2025 Forest River Riverstone, 2022-2026 Coachmen Adrenaline, and 2025 Forest River Cedar Creek fifth wheel travel trailers. The ramp door may break away from the door frame while loading or unloading vehicles.
Consequence: A ramp door that breaks during use increases the risk of injury.
Remedy: Dealers will install additional support brackets, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 18, 2026.
