I WAS PULLING MY HORSE TRAILER DOWN THE HIGHWAY AT 60 TO 65 MPH WITH THREE HORSES AND THE REAR AXLE BROKE. BLOWING THE TIRE, RIM & ENTIRE WHEEL STRAIGHT OUT TO THE SIDE. I DID KNOW IT HAD HAPPENED UNTIL SOMEONE FLAGGED ME DOWN. I WAS STUCK IN ANTHONY NM FROM FRIDAY TO SUNDAY. PULLED TRAILER EMPTY TO BIG TEX DEALER IN ODESSA, TX TO FIX. WAS STUCK THEIR FROM SUNDAY TO WED. ON CM MANUFACTURER HORSE TRAILER WEBSITE. SAYS, THE NO MAD 3 HORSE BUMPER PULL SLANT ALUMINUM HAVE 5200 LB AXLE.MINE HAD ONLY 2 3500 LB AXLES. BIG TEX DETERMINED WAS NOT DUE T…

TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2014 CM TRAILERS NOMAD, TOWED BY A 2015 FORD F-250 SD. WHILE THE TRAILER WAS BEING TOWED AT 35 MPH, THE FRONT AND REAR AXLE WELDS FRACTURED. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT MECHANIC TO BE INSPECTED. THE CONTACT WAS INFORMED THAT THE WELDS WERE INSUFFICIENT AND THAT STRUCTURAL SUPPORT NEEDED TO BE INSTALLED. THE TRAILER WAS REPAIRED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS NOTIFIED OF THE FAILURE. THE VEHICLE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 20,000. THERE WAS NO FAILURE MILEAGE ON THE TRAILER.
